Kosher food is readily available in the Skokie area (when the main site is open) and there are many options in Chicago. The environment is respectful and modest, though the subject matter is somber and best suited for older children and teenagers rather than young children. Staff should note that the museum is not a typical 'fun' outing for Chol Hamoed but rather a significant educational experience.
